Basic North Sea (BNS)
The Basic North Sea is a survival course satisfying both the UK as well as Norwegian National Standard for basic offshore safety training to work in the North Sea. This course basically satisfies Norwegian requirements for BST (Basic Safety Training) as well as OPITO UK requirements for BOSIET. BNS includes training in use of emergency chute, a full OPITO standard BOSIET with an approved bridging element called BSEP (Basic Safety Emergency Preparedness) as specified by the Norwegian OLF.
