Medical Care 1.15

Untitled-Scanned-18This course is an advanced level of medical training, based on the use of International Medical Guide for Ships (IMGS) . MC reflects the requirements of first aid and medical care as specified in appendix 3 of section 17 of the IMO/ILO document for guidance, 1985 and is patterned after the IMO model course 1.15.

Objective
Trainees will be able to effectively coordinate schemes for medical assistance on ships at sea and provide the sick or injured with a satisfactory standard of medical care while they remain onboard.

• Basic Safety Course certificate
