Banksman Slingers Course Crucial to any crane to rigger interface is the banksman. Our Banksman & Slingers course follows the OPITO standard and utilizes a crane with a 100 ft boom for training delegates as banksmen in lifting operations. The course focuses on role of the banksman, communication throughout the lifting team and the crane operator as well as safety aspects involved in rigging and slinging of loads.
