Upgrading Course for Ship Fitters

Delegates assigned as fitters on-board vessels have their skills upgraded through instruction in advance welding repair work by gas and electric arc welding.  The course also gives delegates hands-on experience in gas welding and electric arc welding of pipes in fixed positions, silver brazing of york albro pipes, hot and cold methods for repairing cast iron, air carbon arc gouging and application of plasma cutters.

Entry Requirements
Delegate must have prior experience in basic arc and gas welding.
