Description BHC is Norwegian standard and provides safety training and required knowledge on helideck, refueling and helideck fire fighting equipment operations. Objective Trainees will be able to: Identify helideck/helicopter emergency systems, controls and different operational hazards; Select and operate fire fighting equipment and how to extinguish a fire; Locate and remove casualties using best working practices and procedures; Carry out actions to minimize damage and restore helideck to operational status; be knowledgeable in operation of helideck refueling system; Demonstrate a working knowledge of offshore fire/emergency response arrangements, particularly role of emergency helideck team member.
