Description BSC is specifically designed for both new and veteran seafarers. The syllabus covers the mandatory requirements prescribed in regulation VI/1 and section A-VI/1 of STCW 1995. The Basic Safety Course is patterned after IMO model courses: 1.13, 1.19, 1.20 and 1.21. Objective Trainees will be able to apply the following skills in the event of an emergency: • Personal Survival Techniques • Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting • Elementary First Aid • Personal Safety and Social Responsibility Duration 8 days Entry Requirements Medical certificate |
