OSME provides a comprehensive review of the problems posed by marine oil spills and the response measures that must be implemented.

Objective
Oil enters the marine environment by a number of different routes as a result of both human activities and natural processes. This program examines the various sources of hydrocarbons in the marine environment, the fate of spills and what should be done in response to the most common occurrences.
