Description
PSCRB provides the training to launch and take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat in emergency situations, in accordance with section A-VI/2 of the STCW code. PSCRB is patterned after the IMO model course 1.23.

Objective
Trainees will be able to: Operate life saving equipment; Take charge of a survival craft engine; Manage survivors after abandoning ship; Use all locating devices, including communication and signaling apparatus, pyrotechnics; How to apply first aid and the proper actions to take to preserve the lives of those in their charge.
