Description STCT is recommended for masters, chief engineers, officers and any person with immediate responsibility for the loading, discharging and care in transit or handling of cargo. This course takes full account of section A-V/1 of the STCW code and is patterned after the IMO model course 1.04. Objective Trainees will undergo a specialized program appropriate to their duties, including chemical tanker safety, pollution prevention, operational practice and obligations under applicable laws and regulations.
